Fort La Latte
Fort La Latte is a spectacular 13th century castle located around 16km away from Chateau de Galinee high atop of the cliffs along the Cote d’Emeraude. For history and heritage lovers, Fort La Latte is well worth the visit and on a sunny day the castle and surroundings are perfect for those photographers amongst you.
Dinan is one of the most picturesque and photographed towns in the region. The old town is the main draw of Dinan being located on the side of the hill. With ramparts measuring around 3km, its 13th century Chateau and a variety of historical buildings and cobbled streets, it’s really not surprising that Dinan is so popular with tourists from around the globe.
The local town of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo lies a mere 7km away from the campsite. A popular seaside resort the town has a great range of cafes, restaurants and bars along with 7 wonderful sandy beaches within easy reach. If you’re looking for a bit of exercise and some great photo opportunities, we suggest a walk along the coastal footpaths. In either direction from the town you’ll find a plethora of stunning scenery.
